Telegram has added a voice calling feature in its new v3.18 update, which enable users to make and receive end-to-end encrypted calls over 3G, 4G and Wifi connection on their Android and iOS devices.

The secure instant messaging service added a privacy feature in its new update which give users complete control over who calls them. Users can block other users from calling them or even switch off the the voice calling feature. You can compare four emoji between you and the recipient so as to verify if your call connection is 100% secure.
According to Telegram, the new version of the app allows Telegram to use artificial intelligence (AL) technology to check signal strength, network information, ping times etc so as to deliver the best call quality service. All these are done without having access to the users data, conversion or content.
According to our tests, telegram Calls are already superior to any of our competitors on comparable connections," telegram said. "But the quality of Telegram Calls will further improves as you and others use them, thanks to the built-in machine learning."
