It is so unfortunate that most android user's dont have the priviledge of their blackberry counter parts to pay less for more when it comes to data subscription. but the good news here is that Glo bb subscription is still working on android phones and unlike Airtel bis, this does not zap data like that.
One good thing about this is that the price for it is just 1000 for 3gb whereby airtel's 2gb goes for 1,500 and even worse more, the normal data plan of 1000 is just 250mb on Glo!. So what are you waiting for, why pay for less when you can equally have a gargantuan data for the same amount.
To get the subscription done kindly follow these steps
- Load 1000 and send comonth as a text to 777 or dial *777*21#
- Change your Apn to blackberry.net and save
- Put off your phone, remove the sim, re-insert and reboot. test and see if your internet is connecting because it takes up to 1 hour to activate even on bb devices so you can leave the phone and after 1 hour you can start surfing.
NOTE: If you dont want to be going through all the hassle, you can tweak your imei number to that of a bb imei number and be using bb sub like every other blackberry user!
