Telegram Adds Multiple Accounts Support on Android; Quick Replies on iOS and Android

Telegram has rolled out a new update to its messaging platform, adding some features that users have been craving for a very long time.

The version 4.7 update has support for multiple accounts on Android, while iOS has four different themes and various accent colours. The update also included a quick reply functionality, similar to that of WhatsApp.

For Android users, the new update allows you to add up to three accounts with different phone numbers. Telegrams new update has made it easy for users on Android to operate three accounts on a single device instead of moving around with three devices.

Android users can easily switch between the added accounts from the slide menu to send messages from any particular phone number. However, notifications will be available from all accounts by default, though the user can change this in the Notification settings.

The Telegram update on iOS devices has relevant options that let iOS users to change the look and appearance of their Telegram app. To be able to achieve this, users need to visit the Appearance settings and then choose between the available four themes, including a minimalistic 'Day' and two dark themes which are 'Night' and 'Night Blue'. Users can also change the Day theme's view by selecting a more fitting colour for the entire app.

The quick reply feature added in Telegrams latest version is available for both iOS and Android users. To reply to messages, users just need to swipe on any message in a chat and then use either text, GIF or sticker.

Android users can download Telegram v4.7 from Google Play while iOS users can get it on App Store.
