Two Israeli Teens busted for over data DDoS attack services

Two 18-year-old teenagers from Israel have been arrested for allegly running an online service that allowed paying customers to hack websites.

According to the BBC news, the vDos site charged between $30 to $200 per month for each and so far has been responsible for over 150,000 distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.

The Teens, Yarden Bidani and Italy Huri were placed under house arrest after cybersecurity expert Brian Krebs wrote an expose about their activities. Krebs wrote that the vDos service may have generated around $600,000 in two years and had not been very discreet and so was easily traceable. He also said that the service is dated back to 2012 and is likely to have made its proprietors over $1,000,000.

The vDos site however did not offer DDoS attack on sites located within Israel.
